Australian Geographic cover image!

I am very honoured to have the cover image of the latest edition of Australian Geographic magazine. What I’m most proud of is that it is a dingo image.

The story in this edition focuses on the importance of an apex predator for ecosystem renewal and questions the continued usefulness of the dingo fence. I really want to acknowledge all those who continue to work hard in the conservation of the dingo and advocate on it’s behalf everyday. The dingo is a unique species of canid that is recognised as a native animal in Australia.

I captured this image during filming for “A Magical Land of Oz” which is a blue chip documentary that can be found on Netflix at the moment. I have to say a big thankyou to Northern Pictures who allowed me to work on such an amazing documentary. Over the next few years I plan on travelling a lot more in the hope of photographing dingoes in every type of landscape that they are found within Australia!

Cheers
